Additional information: Facebook +Like Button and "Make a Payment" (Customized button made by me) are both JS add-ins used as a courtesy and with permission by Facebook and PayPal, as methods for promoting both their own sites, services, as well as to enhance the consumer and end-consumer (you visitors) experience.
It's so cool to see a thing like this come together. This is a great example of how a person can take an excellent idea and make it into a reality----which as a creative person means success!
1. Gotta remove the "news" page, as it serves no purpose. 2. Gotta find some sort of "Main" image for the Front page. 3. Gotta fix/figure how to make my JS work on the Portfolio page so that the images pop-up rather than go to separate pages... 4. Gotta re-vamp the Connect page, so that the text is more readable, possibly by putting them all on a text-box styled BG.
BUT... I'm pretty proud of the design, and execution, given the sharp learning curve, and competing advice out there on the web. I've received a lot of rave reviews, but had one person slam it so hard it was like an arena full of sumo getting dumped on the head of a parakeet whose last desperate thought was a confused WTF?!
Even so... This vision, and this goal - would never have been possible without the help, counsel, and frequent brain picking - that my friends have provided and allowed.
Grungy.. I like it. Personally I'd make the text backgrounds (the grey scrolls) a tiny bit brighter, but that may just be me enjoying a nice high contrast. Where's the background textures from? I like them.
The paper-texture is stock (I should probably update this with some stock credits eh?!).. The rest of the backgrounds were made by layering brushes with basic textures, and lots of raster/merge/brush-erase/layer-style/merge down/etc...
When I get the JS to actually WORK - for the iFrame styled Java Pop-Ups for each of the Thumbnailed images in my Portfolio on the site, I intend to add captions at the bottom with lists of Stock when applicable.
But yeah, this webpage itself does need a little tiny bit of stock credit. MOST of what you see I made myself, but there's 2 textures and a *.PSD resource I used. I rarely think to credit for brushes, but the blood/paint splatters all began as a basic stock brush which I modified.
Yikes! Well... In the last couple of days I have had a few professional designers share their thoughts... One person gave positive reviews and brought a couple of points to my attention in the new site (a couple of broken links, etc..) and another person completely trashed my entire site and had only negative things to say about it.
Great work!!

So, thanks Jesse.
I approve of it being sponsored by 'hawtness'.

I'll do it tomorrow.. For now - chillaxin' time.
